Using Social Media for Professional Development Workshop

Brandman University and Times-Delta Media Group present a free career driven workshop titled, Using Social Media for Professional Development, on Wednesday, January 30th, from 12:30 – 2:00pm.  Come polish up your personal tool box and learn how to use social media to seek employment and recruit employees.  I’m the keynote speaker and will be explaining the benefits of using social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for professional development.

Brandman‘s Visalia Campus is hosting an all-day job fair and has partnered with local organizations to share job openings and resources for job seekers.  Throughout the day, various workshops, such as Using Social Media for Professional Development, will be offered to help you refine your skills and companies will conduct on-the-spot job interviews.   This awesome event is free and open to the public.

Attendees are encouraged to dress for success, bring résumés, and are welcome to stay the entire day or stop by for a few hours to catch a contact packed professional development workshop.  This is perfect for job seekers, business owners, entrepreneurs, retirees, veterans, employers, recent high school or college graduates, and those fresh in the workforce.
